Samsung will add another entry to its recently launched Galaxy C series. The new Galaxy C9 is seen to be the biggest in the lineup, which will reportedly launch with a 5.7-inch display.

SamMobile reports that the new Galaxy C lineup from Samsung will add a phablet to its iterations, as specs and details of the supposed Galaxy C9 includes a 5.7-inch screen. Reportedly, the new phone is already in the pipeline, codenamed "Amy," and much like other iterations in the lineup, will be exclusive to China. However, there is a possibility that the Galaxy C9 will also have a global launch. Previous Samsung lineups, like the Galaxy A series, also found their way to international markets after being launched as China-exclusives.

Meanwhile, although Samsung has yet to come out with confirmed details, it is said that the next Galaxy C addition will also sport much of the same features as the other lineup iterations. This is highly likely, since the already-released Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7 have similar features, with only their screen sizes and dimensions different.

If the same specs will be featured in the 5.7-inch Galaxy C9, then fans can expect a Snapdragon 625 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM. It is also likely that the new handset will sport the same 32GB onboard storage, which is expandable for up to 256GB via microSD. Meanwhile, as to when can fans expect the new lineup iteration, the Galaxy C9 is possible to launch soon, given that recent leaks say that Galaxy C9 prototypes have already been imported for testing.

Samsung is on a roll for its smartphone launches this year. In-between the recently-released Galaxy Note 7 and the anticipated Galaxy S8 flagship early next year, the South Korea-based tech giant is expected to roll out more mid-range additions. Just recently, Samsung has also released the Tizen-powered Z2 in India. Meanwhile, aside from the Galaxy C9, Samsung is also expected to come out with the Galaxy J7 Prime.
