Rising Christian artist Sarah Reeves releases debut album

|PIC1|Rising Christian music artist Sarah Reeves has released her debut album, Sweet, Sweet Sound, and hopes, more than anything, to help lead young people into a lifestyle of worship and adoration to God.

“I have one goal and one true destiny, and that is to bring people to the heart of God, to help them understand his love, his mercy, and the freedom and power of worship,” says the 19-year-old Alabama native, whose album reviewers say is “far beyond her age”.

“My goal is to lead the nations into His arms. That’s my calling,” she adds.

Written in conjunction with a number of Nashville’s most sought-after songwriters, Sweet, Sweet Sound is a six-song set that reveals a tapestry of worship-inducing pop.

“Sarah’s passion for leading others in worship comes through on every track of her record,” says Brad O’Donnell, VP of A&R for EMI CMG, which Reeves’ label, Sparrow Records, is a division of.

“I believe that her emotional lyrics, her distinctive voice and her ability to communicate onstage will connect with her generation and anyone else who is looking for a fresh worship sound and experience.”

Reeves signed with EMI CMG/Sparrow Records on March 31, 2008, joining the Christian label’s all-star lineup of new talent. Sparrow Records is home to a slew of popular Christian music veterans including Avalon, Bethany Dillon, Chris Tomlin, David Crowder Band, Delirious, Matt Redman, Matthew West, Sanctus Real, Starfield, Steven Curtis Chapman, Switchfoot, and Tim Hughes.

Recently, Reeves appeared as a special guest on the “Wonder of the World” tour featuring headliner Rush Of Fools. She is also featured on an upcoming EMI compilation record, re-making “Lamb of God” by Twila Paris.

Reeves is managed by Patton House Entertainment, with booking through Jeff Robert & Associates.
