While speculations suggest that season 3 of "Rick and Morty" may be delayed, at least fans can get an idea of how the new show will run as supposed synopses of some of the episodes appear online.

The recording for season 3 episodes of the sci-fi animation series "Rick and Morty" seems to be doing well, as possible plots for future episodes are currently circulating online. The IMDB page for the show has been updated with a number of synopses for some of the episodes in season 3. It is unclear if the summaries are official, though.

The synopses mostly cover the earlier episodes for the upcoming season. While the premiere episode for season has yet to reveal its plot, episodes 2-4 already have their synopses listed online. Reportedly, season 3 will deal with a fake Rick traveling together with the real Morty; Rick becoming a criminal mastermind in an inter-dimensional prison; and Evil Morty making a comeback. Allegedly, episodes 2-4 are part of a 3-part premiere for the show's third season.

Season 3 for "Rick and Morty" seems to be in full swing for its development, and this is already hinted at by the creative team. Previously, an interview with creators Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon teased that season 3 is well into production.

Roiland said to Collider, "Well we're well into the thick of it. We're deep into the season and I always like to underpromise and overdeliver but I do really feel like, the episodes we've got in the hopper are some of the best we've ever done, I think."

However, although the creative team is on the thick of things for season 3, the show is said to be having a setback on its premiere date. Reportedly, the release period for the next "Rick and Morty" show has gotten unclear, since season 3 having an early 2017 outing is now a possibility.
