'Pokémon Omega Ruby' and 'Alpha Sapphire' update: Myster Gift brings new 'mons for free

The Pokémon Company has been extra generous over the past couple of weeks as the gaming firm released free 'mons for "Pokémon Omega Ruby" and "Alpha Sapphire" as a Mystery Gift.

Earlier, the grass type Pokémon called Serperior was released by the game developer. It can be obtained by accessing Pokémon.com to copy the code for this free pocket monster. Once the code is copied, the player should go to the main menu and choose the Mystery Gift tab. Then, they should pick out the option to use a code.

On Jan. 29, the Emboar 'mon was unveiled. Just like Pokémon Serperior, players can also get the Mystery Gift code from the company's official website.

The last free 'mon that was up for grabs was released on Feb. 5, and the pocket monster is called Samurott. This time, the code is posted in the February edition of the Trainer Club Newsletter.

Meanwhile, all Pokémon players should access the Pokémon Bank from Feb. 27 up to Nov. 30 to avail three new pocket monsters called Meganium, the Feraligatr, as well as the Typhlosion. These 'mons are classified as the starters for Pokémon's HeartGold and SoulSilver editions.

The three Pokémon are equipped with individual Hidden Ability, including the Leaf Guard Hidden Ability that Meganium possesses to protect it from extreme sunlight. The Typhlosion 'mon, on the other hand, has the Flash Fire Hidden Ability that can increase its Fire-type moves by as high as 50 percent, and has the capacity to protect it from possible damage brought by the Fire-type moves. Meanwhile, Feraligatr comes with the Sheer Force Hidden Ability that can help deliver up to 30 percent more damage, while it can eliminate other added effects.
