Unlike Microsoft, which recently revealed what games can be downloaded for free by Xbox Live Games with Gold subscribers, Sony has yet to reveal what games will be available for free for PlayStation Plus members for the month of May. This delay has left some to freely speculate what will be in store for players.

PlayStation Universe is one of the sites that gave a forecast on what games will be made available to PlayStation Plus members. It predicted that "The Escapists" and "Rayman Legends" will be offered for the PlayStation 4. The former is a strategy game, wherein players will need to guide a convict through various levels to escape from prison. The latter, meanwhile, is an updated version of the fan-favorite platforming game.

It also predicted two titles for the PlayStation Vita, which are also playable on PS4: "Neon Chrome," which is a shooter game, and "Hue," which is a platforming game, which requires players to solve puzzles and manipulate the environment to beat the game.

It also predicted that "Resident Evil Zero," the game series prequel, will be released as the free game for PlayStation 3. In this game, players take control of Rebecca Chambers, a STARS officer, and Billy Coen, a former military officer who was convicted of a crime he claims he did not do, as they attempt to escape from various undead creatures.

The Bitbag also has its own game predictions. It predicted that "Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition" and "God of War III Remastered" will be offered as the free games for PlayStation 4. The latter lets players play the role of Death, who is out to rescue War, a fellow Horseman of the Apocalypse." "God of War III Remastered" was also included in the lineup, with the article saying this is a good choice to build up hype for the upcoming "God of War" game.

The other two games included in the website's forecast are indie titles. "Crypt of the Necromancer" lets players guide the character traversing through various dungeons. "Thumper," on the other hand, is a rhythm game, wherein gamers take control of a space beetle.
