A PowerPoint presentation surface on Scribd, which was said to have been given to game developers for the upcoming and much-talked-about PlayStation Neo.

The 42-page document has been pulled out since getting much attention from the public, but many were able to get pieces of it. It is said to contain basic technical specs of the console and developer guidelines for parties involved.

WCCFTech got hold of many of the pages of the leaked document showing the tech specs of the soon-to-be-released game console.

The slide shows that the Neo will be coming with 8 Jaguar cores bumped to 2.1 GHz, which is 1.3 times faster than the current gen that contains 8 Jaguar cores at 1.6 GHz. Its GPU will be running at 36 Compute Units at 911 MHz. The current-gen console offers 18 Compute Units at 800 MHz. The memory module will also be upgraded, giving a higher bandwidth at 218 GB/s (1.24x increase) compared to the PS4's 176 GB/s. It still has the same 8 GB GDDR5 type. The storage space will not feature any upgrades.

The document also mentioned that game developers should prepare their game with a 1920 x 1080 display buffer for HDTV, while a 3520 x 1980 display buffer for a 4K TV. The PlayStation 4 Neo will be the one to upscale the image depending on the output connected to the console.

Slash Gear added that the document stated that both consoles will "coexist in the marketplace," shutting down rumors that Sony might give preference to its Neo model more. The PlayStation Neo will not offer any difference in terms of store, apps, software and even the community. Everything will remain the same, the document added.

It is also speculated that the new video game console will arrive sometime in October.

For the meantime fans need to wait for Sony's official statement with regards to these pieces of information. The company has not issued any statement in connection to the leaked document.
