If there is any company with a reputation of making exhilarating action-adventure games, it would be no other than PlatinumGames. With "Bayonetta" and "Nier: Automata" on its resume, the company is now looking to release another game that needs the same quality treatment, "Granblue Fantasy: Project Re:Link."

The news about its gameplay first came about last December when they revealed the game during a livestream. Earlier this week, another video featuring highlights from the stream have been uploaded, as per IGN. Actually, it was the developers of the original mobile game, Cygames, who have uploaded the gameplay trailer.

The trailer mainly showed two types of scenes. The first was a good few minutes of the protagonist, Katalina, just walking around town, with the clip showing off the scenery. Players who have ever played "Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" would find the experience quite similar. There are kids having fun, an airship floating in the distance, and just scenes players would see in the village.

The second scene showed more of the action-adventure part of the game. With this one, anyone who has played action-adventure games would love seeing how the combat scenes were made. The characters are jumping performing aerial combos and dodging enemy attacks while fighting with other allies.

The scene is "a battle sequence in which the characters Katalina, Io, Percival and Rackam each make use of electrifying special abilities culminating in a Chain Burst attack," reads the video's description. From the sound of it, it stays true to the combos done in the original mobile game.

"Granblue Fantasy: Project Re:Link" has no release date yet in Japan, let alone for the west. More details have yet to come including its official name as the one it currently has is still tentative.
