Photos: Pope Francis and Benedict XVI's historic meeting

Pope Francis and Benedict XVI met in a historic encounter on Saturday. They prayed together in the chapel of Castel Gandolfo before having a private meeting with each other that lasted around half an hour. Although the details of their conversation have not been disclosed, Vatican spokesman Fr Federico Lombardi described it as "a moment of profound communion" between the Pope and Pope Emeritus.
