"Orphan Black" fans who are hoping to see Delphine (Evelyne Bronchu) survive the attack of an unknown individual in season three can breathe a sigh of relief as series co-creator Graeme Manson said that Cosima's girlfriend might return next season.

Manson hinted about Delphine's possible fate during the show's Comic-Con 2015 panel held Friday, July 10, at the Ballroom 6 of the San Diego Convention Center.

"Nobody's safe on the show, but she's Orphan Black dead," Manson stated.

Fans expressed their disappointment about the lack of a concrete answer about Delphine's fate, but the show's co-creator John Fawcett seemed to be flattered with how the viewers were reacting to the unexpected twist.

"It's great — I love that you're all up in arms about it," Fawcett declared. "It's a mystery, guys. There's a reason why there's a mystery."

The series creators also dropped a major spoiler for "Orphan Black" season 4, saying that viewers will see more of the story arc of Sarah's daughter Kira (Skyler Wexler). According to the series creators, learning about Kira's humanity cannot be explained by using science.

Manson and Fawcett were also joined by the stars of the show during the show's panel appearance, including lead actress Tatiana Maslany who portrays multiple characters in the series — she plays all the Leda clones like Cosima, Alison, and Sarah, among numerous others. Other stars were also present during the event, including Jordan Gavaris who plays Sarah's foster brother Felix; Maria Doyle Kennedy, Sarah's foster mother and original genetic source of the Leda and Castor clones; Dylan Bruce, Beth and Sarah's protector Paul; Kristian Bruun as Alison's husband Donnie; as well as Ari Millen as the Castor clones.

While Delphine's death remains uncertain, Bruce's character Paul is confirmed to be a goner after he suffered from multiple gunshot and stab wounds last season. The cast also explained to Entertainment Weekly that no one could survive and stay alive after going through what the character had experienced, especially after a grenade detonated on him.

On a lighter note, the cast of "Orphan Black" showcased a series of video clips in front of the audience. It was not a preview of the show's season 4, however, but it contains several blooper scenes as well as fake footages showing Alison and Donnie in various comedic scenarios.

"Orphan Black" season 4 is expected to premiere in 2016.
