While the cast and crew of "One Punch Man" have not yet divulged when the first episode of the new season will premiere, fans are now hoping that it will be released soon, following their announcement of the theme song for season 2.

According to Crunchyroll, the song is titled "The Hero!! ~Ikareru Ken ni Honō o Tsukero~." It will be performed by JAM Project, the same group behind the theme song of the first season of "One Punch Man." The new song will be released on a CD, bundled with an audio drama which was produced under the supervision of ONE, the manga creator of the anime series. The release of the song may be to build up hype for the second season of the show.

Another hint that season 2 of "One Punch Man" is just around the corner is Viz Media's announcement that it will be releasing the first season of the anime series on Blu-ray and DVD in late April. This could have been done by the production company to give viewers time to catch up with the story in time for the release of brand-new episodes.

Meanwhile, Mangum Star News announced that the first episode of the second season of "One Punch Man" will air on Nov. 11. However, it did not provide the basis for naming the date, so this information should be taken with a grain of salt.

Little information has been revealed about the story of the second season. The only detail that has been given is that the series is currently under production, which has been announced via Twitter. The lack of news left fans free to speculate on the fate of Saitama, also known as One Punch Man, an ordinary salaryman who trained himself to become a superhero. Fan theories include speculations on his origins and the enemies he will be facing.
