One of the two new "One Piece" games, "One Piece Grand Cruise" is finally coming to the west with a release date set. Players will finally get to experience what it is like being part of Luffy's Straw Hat Pirates.

Developers Bandai Namco announced recently that the virtual reality (VR) game will be coming to the west sometime in 2018. Players get to ride on the Thousand Sunny ship and interact with everyone from the crew: Luffy himself, Nami, Sanji, Zoro and all the others.

As part of the crew, players will have take part in the battles whatever the weather. The weather system, in fact, is a bonus as people will experience whether changes between Winter and Summer, both of which are from the One Piece Tower in Tokyo, as per Comicbook.com.

These features are not new to those who have actually visited the One Piece Tower. Nevertheless, at least with the new "One Piece Grand Cruise" VR game, fans do not need to go all the way to Tokyo just to experience it themselves.

Unfortunately, there is one feature that is still only available to the One Piece Tower and for players in Japan: multiplayer mode. Although the VR game is definitely headed to the West, the multiplayer feature will not be coming out with the PSVR game yet.

The game was originally announced back in July and had its trailer released just last month. "One Piece Grand Cruise" will be out exclusively for the PlayStation VR. For those without a PSVR, there is another "One Piece" game coming also next year called, "One Piece: World Seeker," which is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. No release date has been mentioned for this game as well.
