Oklahoma City Thunder vs Miami Heat live stream: Watch online NBA free [TNT start time]

The Miami Heat and the Oklahoma City Thunder will face off on Thursday night in a game that will also see the return of the Thunder's Russell Westbrook.

The game has a tip off time of 8 p.m. EST and can be watched on the TNT TV network. Alternatively for those who want to catch the action online, it can be watched through live stream – free for subscribers – via the link provided below.

Westbrook's return tonight will see him take to the court for the first time since just Christmas.

His return was announced just hours prior to the game, as the team made an announcement saying that the three-time All-Star point guard is ready to make his comeback after undergoing a third surgery on his right knee since April 2013, when he suffered a bad knee injury.

"We are all very excited to have Russell back," the Thunder said in a statement. "He has worked extremely hard throughout his rehabilitation, and his addition will allow us to build on the progress we have made in his absence."

The statement added, "As Russell integrates back into the team we are going to manage the transition by building his minutes over time and will evaluate his availability in back-to-back situations.

"These steps are an effort to control the areas of his return to play where feasible, given the reduced practice and conditioning time during the regular season. Our goal is to create the best foundation for Russell and the team as we head into the postseason."

Westbrook's first surgery took place in late April 2013, which was a meniscus repair surgery on his right knee. That surgery ended his 2012-13 season, and the Thunder went on to be eliminated in the Western Conference semifinals by the Grizzlies.

He also had a follow up surgery in October, but his most recent surgery took place on December 27 to help with the swelling he was suffering.
