Officials say Israeli troops kill two in WBank

Israeli troops killed a Palestinian militant and a teenager on Thursday during a raid into the occupied West Bank, Palestinian medical and security officials said.

The officials said a militant from the Islamic Jihad and a 16-year-old boy were shot by Israeli troops during an exchange of fire when they surrounded a house where militants were held up in the Kabatiya refugee camp near the city of Jenin.

An Israeli army spokeswoman said she was checking the report.

Israeli forces frequently raid West Bank towns in search of militants suspected of involvement in attacks against the Jewish state.
