Nintendo offers discounts for 'My Nintendo' members with 30 - 50 percent off on selected games

Nintendo just won't stop giving discounts on their games. The company is currently offering "My Nintendo" members good discounts for games released for the New Nintendo 3DS and Wii U.

According to Comicbook, My Nintendo members are in for a good deal as Nintendo is discounting games again for the New Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. All My Nintendo users can redeem points from their accounts and use them for a 50 percent discount for the 3DS and Wii U game "Earthbound."

Moreover, Nintendo 3DS games like "Sakura Samurai: Art of The Sword," "Metroid Prime: Federation Force," "Code Name S.T.E.A.M," and "Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past" are 30 percent off on the Nintendo eShop by redeeming My Nintendo points.

Additionally, Nintendo will be adding virtual goodies to all My Nintendo members. These gifts include a January 2018 calendar with Master Cycle Zero from "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" and a new Home Menu Theme from "Breath of the Wild: A New Adventure," which will be released for the New Nintendo 3DS.

My Nintendo reward points may also be used to unlock in-app items for the "Super Mario Run" game for Android and iOS devices.

In other news, Nintendo has delayed the release of their 64-gigabyte (GB) game cards for the Nintendo Switch console. According to Gamespot, the 64 GB cards were initially planned to be released in the second quarter of 2018. However, Nintendo has reportedly run into technical issues in making the cards.

This means that most games slated to be released for the Nintendo Switch may also be delayed. There is currently a growing list of games to be made available for the console.

Nintendo has already delivered the news to game developers who plan on releasing games for the Switch. The 64 GB cards may be released in the early months of 2019.
