The AFC Championship Game takes place on Sunday with the New England Patriots going on the road to the Denver Broncos to try and take down Peyton Manning and his on-fire offensive unit. Although this game is being heavily billed as a Brady vs Manning face off, there is a lot more to this match up, and this should be intriguing for many other reasons. However, the two star quarterbacks are taking all the headlines right now as they get ready for their 15<sup>th meeting on the field against one another.
In their previous 14 games against one another, Brady has won 10, with Manning only managing 4 wins.
This is the third time the quarterbacks have met in an AFC Championship Title Game, with each of them winning once – and each time the winner has gone on to win the Super Bowl.
Denver finished the regular season on 13-3, with Peyton Manning taking all the headlines by throwing for the most yards and touchdowns in a single season in NFL history.
However, the Patriots were not far behind and finished the regular season 12-4, winning yet another divisional title.
Both teams have amazing offensive units, and arguably the two best quarterbacks in the NFL. However, this game will likely be won by the defensive unit that does the best under the onslaught from the opposing offense. Both teams have had very average defenses this year, and whichever defense shows up today is likely to win the game.
