'Nashville' Season 3 spoilers: Juliette will be pregnant, but who's the father?

In June, 'Nashville' star Hayden Panettiere was confirmed to be pregnant by US Weekly. Now, E! News confirmed that Panettiere's baby bump will also be part of the show.

In "Nashville" season 3, Panettiere's character Juliette Barnes will be pregnant. However, what she doesn't know is who the baby's father is.

The writers behind the show had found a way to cleverly put the actress' pregnancy into the main storyline. Back in season 2, Juliette cheated on Avery and slept with Jeff Fordham. It was obvious that Juliette will have to face the consequences of her actions, and this is where her story is headed.

Given the pregnancy storyline, it will be a question if Juliette will actually keep the baby or not. According to IBT, "If Jeff is the father, she might not want to keep the baby. Would anyone really want to raise Jeff's demon spawn?"

On the other hand, Juliette can't really go for an abortion as this will taint her reputation. Plus, with Edgehill Records on the verge of collapsing, staying close to the record label executive might be her best move. Hence, this might mean that Juliette is actually keeping the baby.

Now, if Avery is the baby daddy, this could be the reason why he'd accept Juliette back. Back in season 2, Avery didn't want to have anything to do with Juliette and he'll do what it takes to move on from their relationship.

However, Avery is not always known to be the good guy in the show. In season 1, Avery was a rude boyfriend to Scarlet and this might just be how he reacts to Juliette's pregnancy. He might escape his responsibility.

Meanwhile, it will be good to see a different story for Juliette, who has always been self-centered in the TV series. With a baby on the way, she could probably learn a thing or two about being a mother and how to care for others before herself.

"Nashville" Season 3 will have 22 episodes. It will premiere live on ABC on September 24 at 9 p.m.
