While NetherRealm Studios has yet to come out with details on the rumored "Kombat Pack 3," fans are expecting veterans for the next expansion content for "Mortal Kombat X."

The return to classic veterans for a new DLC for "Mortal Kombat X" is already expected, since supposed characters have already made their way as NPCs in the game, so NetherRealm Studios will only need to tweak some codes. Movie News Guide reports that per speculations, fan favorites from the classic veteran fighters include Sindel, Rain, Baraka, Noob Saibot, and Fujin. It is unclear however, if "Kombat Pack 3" will include a total list of veteran fighters making their "Mortal Kombat X" comeback. The previous two DLC packs, while having veteran Kombatants in their rosters, were a mix of veteran fighters and non-franchise characters like Jason Vorhees and the Xenomorph from the "Alien" film franchise.

"Mortal Kombat X" has two "Kombat Pack" DLC packs which introduced a number of new characters to the franchise, as well as other in-game items like alternate costumes and character skins.

According to Event Hubs, NetherRealm Studios has yet to officially confirm a new DLC for its franchise installment "Mortal Kombat X." However, a studio executive, Ed Boon, has been known to troll and tease fans from time to time. In the latest series of would-be teasers, Boon has made an unofficial poll for Microsoft fans, asking if they will buy the newly-released Xbox One S. In a classic Boon tweet, though, the studio executive teased fans, as he included a hint on "Kombat Pack 3" as one of the choices.

Based on the tally though, most fans are waiting for the new "Kombat Pack 3" to drop more than anything else. The third option for the new DLC got 66 percent of total answers, while 27 percent of the responders have said no to the new Xbox One S console upgrade.
