"Mortal Kombat X" fans are now speculating that "Kombat Pack 3" DLC will soon arrive after Ed Boon, its game director, dropped another hint regarding the still-unannounced expansion pack.

Boon recently created another survey via his Twitter account about purchasing an Xbox One S. It is a simple one, answerable with a yes or a no, but he added a third option, "Kombat Pack 3 Dammit !!" More than 13 thousand replied to the poll, with 7 percent opting to buy, while 27 percent said no. However, 66 percent chose "Kombat Pack 3," Movie News Guide reported.

No reaction so far is coming from Boon with regards to the result, but it can't be denied that fans have been wanting NetherRealm Studios, the game developer, to create the expansion pack for quite a time now. Fans even preferred the expansion pack rather than a new "Mortal Kombat 11," according to the first survey that started all the hype. It was then followed by several more surveys, which in turn excited the fans more.

Now, many gamers are speculating that "Kombat Pack 3" will happen and will arrive soon. Fans cannot wait to have their other favorite game characters to be made playable upon the arrival of the next expansion pack.

Boon also stated on the PlayStation Blogcast episode 213 last June that the team is currently busy and is still concentrating on its upcoming game, "Injustice 2." Then he teased fans with a cryptic message that pointed to the EVO 2016 event. However, the event ended without "Mortal Kombat X" getting mentioned, making fans really disappointed.

The next post Boon put up says that, "There is big MKXL news coming," which gave back high hopes to its followers.

Currently, there is still no solid information if fans can expect the arrival of "Kombat Pack 3," but the studio is aware of what the fans prefer to receive.
