"Mortal Kombat X" seems to have more content coming soon, if fans will have their way.

Ed Boon of NetherRealm Studios, developer of the current-gen "Mortal Kombat" game, teased what possible content fans want from the franchise. Boon posted the results on his Twitter. Should fans have their say, a "Kombat Pack 3" for "Mortal Kombat X" is certainly plausible, as Boon's unofficial poll gathered that for fans, a new content pack with DLC characters and other in-game items is much more preferable than any other new content.

Meanwhile, the fan poll also established that some are already expecting a sequel to "Mortal Kombat X."

Fans clamoring for "Kombat Pack 3" for the "Mortal Kombat X" game is understandable as NetherRealm Studios has been successful with the first two expansion content packs thus far. "Kombat Pack 1" and "Kombat Pack 2" introduced new in-game features, as well as additional playable characters to the game. Moreover, the mix of additional fighters were interesting, as the expansion DLC packs added both franchise veterans and fan favorites, even characters from outside the franchise like Jason Voorhees.

Meanwhile, as news of possible "Kombat Pack 3" circulates online, some observers are already laying out their wish lists for possible additional fighters in "Mortal Kombat X." This Gen Gaming points out that since veterans seem to be included on the DLC list, then fans will expect Sindel, Rain, and Baraka added to the roster, seeing as they are the most popular among fans and have also been included in fan favorites in previous "Kombat Pack" predictions. Meanwhile, the industry follower added that as for interesting characters outside of the franchise, the Joker is one of the candidates.

In addition, another character that may finally make it to "Kombat Pack 3" is Spawn, as there are rumors that NetherRealm Studios has already gotten a go-signal from Spawn's creator to use the character in the "Mortal Kombat" franchise.
