Capcom will be launching the second beta for its upcoming action role-playing video game "Monster Hunter: World" today. The second beta test will last for four days and will include three different quests.
According to Capcom, many people were asking for a second beta test after the first one earlier in December. "Due to popular demand, we're bringing back the beta for a second round of server load testing! All PlayStation 4 users with an internet connection to PlayStation Network can participate, so take this chance to dive into the new world of Monster Hunters," Capcom wrote.
Players who had already downloaded the first beta version no longer need the additional download. Players will have the chance to engage in three different quests in the single-player campaign. The "Great Devourer, Great Jargas," "Wildspire Rampage," and "The Ancient Forest Menace" quests will be available in the beta test. Players can also try out 14 different weapons in the training area feature.
The multiplayer function will also be included, but Capcom reminds everyone that most online features will not be available in the beta. Other than that, gamers can also play around with character creation and naming, as well as with voice and text chat.
Capcom has not released any updates if there will be a beta test for Xbox One and PC.
Capcom also announced Mega Man's Palico Armor will be available in "Monster Hunter: World" video game, but will not be included in the beta.
Capcom will be giving away prices to players who will be able to complete three quests in the beta version. Players who are able to accomplish all hunts will be given one face paint, lifepowder, max potions, shock traps, and more in the full version of the video game.
"Monster Hunter: World" will be released on Jan. 26, 2018. Everyone who wants to play the game as soon as it comes out can now pre-order it from several retail stores like Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, GameStop, and EB Games.
