Miss America live stream [ABC TV]: Winners, top 10 to be announced

The preliminary results are in and this means that the grand show is getting near, this Sunday to be exact. As early as now, there are huge favorites to win the crown as well as the top contenders to be crowned Miss America 2015.

It is the second time that a Miss Oklahoma has won the second round of swimsuit preliminary competition. Miss Oklahoma, Alex Eppler, 24, talked about how he follows a strategy of staying fit and a healthy regime with the help of a trainer. Eppler got a $1,000 scholarship for the win and she hit the category "Lifestyle and Fitness in Swimsuit" on the head.

The other winner of the night was Miss Kentucky Ramsey Carpenter, 23. She won the talent award by performing her rendition of "Orange Blossom Special" with her green fiddle. Her main competition was Miss Rhode Island Ivy DePew, who also played the fiddle with the song "The Devil Went Down to Georgia."

Miss Rhode Island is also the one who collapsed during the competition Tuesday. This sparked controversy and rumor that the contestant may have starved herself before the competition. However, her sister says that Ramsey is health conscious and ate dinner that night.

Meanwhile, Miss Florida Victoria Cowen, 21, won the swimsuit preliminary last Tuesday but didn't get to win the second one. Nonetheless, she proves to be a fierce competitor in the Miss World pageant and her lyrical dance talent surely puts her up the pedestal with the other front runners. Her performance was fluid and she was a delight to watch. She was confident, which is an important quality of every contestant.

Furthermore, not many were fond of Miss North Dakota Jacky Arness' answer when she explained her women empowerment platform. She said that there should be less competition among women and that the pageant should act as a place where women presidents and vice presidents can come from.

The preliminary competition seemed exciting enough. But the real show is where a new Miss America gets crowned. Catch it this Sunday on ABC at 8 p.m. A live stream of the event will also be available to watch online here.
