With 19 kids to look after, it can get pretty difficult for Christian mother Michelle Duggar to keep track of her children's clothes and belongings. However, the dutiful mom has obtained quite a few organisational secrets that have made her life easier.

According to the Duggar Family Blog, Michelle prefers shelves with doors rather than open shelves because the former can help prevent dust from building up. With that cleaning responsibility lightened, she now has time to de-clutter all of their stuff on a regular basis to make sure that they keep only the important things.

"My idea of the perfect house is a home that has more storage space than living quarters," she admitted.

Because of her commitment to her family, Michelle's husband Jim Bob is grateful for all the things she has done to keep their family happy, healthy, and safe.

"She is the virtuous woman that Proverbs 31 talks about. She is the ultimate wife and mother and I love her more and more each day," Jim Bob said of his wife. "Michelle is a strong leader, yet tender hearted, and has a sweet, loving spirit. She is my best friend, we share everything. Michelle is selfless, always thinking of others first. She is an example to millions of women, her children rise up and call her blessed. Michelle is my business partner, ministry team companion, and the mother of our 19 children."

Jim Bob and Michelle are used to having so many kids around that it can get difficult for them to accept that some of their daughters - specifically Jill Dillard and Jessa Seewald - have moved out of the house and started families of their own.

"Everything is changing at home. It's good, not bad, yet change is sometimes hard," said Michelle. "Change can be difficult for all of us, but it is such a good reason to have change. It's a joyful time."
