There is no official update about the health of Michael Schumacher. However, an ex-Formula 1 priest, Don Sergio Mantovani, claims the he knows things about the F1 champ and he also knows that Michael is a fighter.

Mantovani is the long-serving priest for the Ferarri team and is always seen at the F1 paddock on every race for many years. The priest was said to be interviewed by a German newspaper Bild am Sonntag, and stated, "Michael is still a hero here (at Maranello)," Wheels 24 reported.

Mantovani added, "He loved Ferrari and we Italians love him. What we saw as a driver and certainly, what is true still today is that Michael is a fighter, I know he believes in God, but doesn't go to church. I know probably more than I want to say, but recently I have had no contact. I still pray for Michael. Why this is happening to him and how it will proceed, only God knows the answer."

Many fans would have wished that the F1 superstar would be around to celebrate his 25th year anniversary for winning his first Formula 1 race for the Jordan team at Spa, Belgium. However, the champ is at his residence still recovering from the skiing accident.

The last official news was back in May when CNN reported that former Ferrari chairman Luca di Montezemolo stated that the F1 superstar "is reacting." However, the former big boss did not elaborate on his statement. Back in February, he also shared"not good" news from the champ.

Fans and friends are still hoping that Schumacher will fully recover from his brain injury.
