Miami Heat power forward/center Chris Bosh is rumored to be in the middle of a trade mix. The New York Knicks are said to be interested in bringing the 32-year-old to the team, while Denver Nuggets is trade-ready with Kenneth Faried. That is if Bosh will have a clean bill of health.
Phil Jackson, the New York Knicks' president, is said to have a deep interest in Bosh, who averages 19.2 points, 8.5 rebounds, two assists, and one block per game. He is also on the floor for 35.8 minutes per game. Jackson further believes that Bosh would be a great addition to any team, Inquisitr reported.
The report added that even if Jackson would have his way, the rules of the league will not allow an easy way in for Bosh into the team. The Knicks are already over the salary cap, and do not even have low-paid players to accommodate 32-year-old player. The most Knick can do is to let go of Carmelo Anthony and Derrick Rose, which will definitely not happen right now.
Meanwhile, the Denver Nuggets are exactly the opposite of Knicks. They are trade-ready and are willing to let go of Kenneth Faried, Wilson Chandler, and Joffrey Lauvergne for him. Bosh is a multi-talented player; inside and outside of the paint, he got it covered. This is also the reason why many are interested in Bosh, and it just so happens that his health is interfering with all of these, Nugg Love reported.
Bosh's health issue started during the NBA All-Star Game back in 2015. He was diagnosed with blood clots and missed the last part of that season. Bosh was able to play back during the 2015-2016 season, but his condition surfaced again. To make matters worse, his medical treatment includes blood thinners. Basketball and blood thinners do not go together so no matter how much Bosh wanted to play in the remainder of the season, he had to miss the last 29 games, as well as the 2016 NBA Playoffs.
Everything is left in the open for the meantime until Bosh's health improves. A medical report is expected to arrive this month or early September.
