For Mexico it is do or die time in their World Cup 2014 qualification campaign. If they do not win their CONCACAF match against Panama tonight then they would almost definitely be out. This is a must-win game for El Tri.

Even though there are various scenarios where Mexico could lose tonight and still get into the World Cup, but they are not very good options, and Mexico will only be looking at this game as a must-win.
Panama sit just one place above Mexico in the CONCACAF Hexagonal and whoever wins here tonight will be favorites to make the World Cup. Mexico are currently out of the reckoning and will want to win here to at least put a playoff spot in their own hands.
Panama will be desperate to win this game and nab the spot, and they have never qualified for the World Cup Finals – which means a win here tonight would feel almost like they'd won the World Cup for them.
Panama and Mexico meet at the Azteca level on points and goal difference, but with Panama ahead on the tiebreaker.
