PC owners can now check if their components can survive the graphical demands of "Metal Gear Survive," as the system requirements for the PC version of the game have been released.

As usual, the specifications required feature two aspects, one for the bare minimum to be able to run the game, and another to be able to enjoy the game in its full graphical splendor. Luckily, both are not as demanding as some of the most recent AAA game titles released this year and the last.

For the game to run, players will need a minimum of a 64-bit Windows operating system (OS) that should at least be Windows 7 for the central processing unit (CPU), with an Intel Core i5-4460 running at 3.40 gigahertz (GHz), its quad-core, or better Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) equivalent. This should be coupled with at least 4 gigabytes (GB) of system random access memory (RAM), and last but not the least, a graphics processing unit (GPU) of NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 or its AMD Radeon equivalent, which should have at least 2 GB of video RAM.

Now, for gamers to be able to play the title with all graphical settings maxed out, PC owners will need at least a Windows 7 64-bit (OS), an Intel Core i7-4790 running at 3.60 GHz or its AMD equivalent, 8 GB of system RAM, and a GPU of NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 or an equivalent AMD video card. For those wondering what the AMD Radeon equivalents are, these GPU hierarchy and CPU hierarchy lists should help.

It is worth noting that in both system requirements, the game will also need about 20 GB of free hard disk space since this is how much the game will occupy on the computer. Additionally, a Broadband internet connection is on the list of requirements for the game since it requires players to be always online in order to play.

Should their system measure up to the requirements, PC owners can expect "Metal Gear Survive" to arrive on Feb. 21.
