Kojima-less "Metal Gear" game, "Metal Gear Survive," has just been revealed recently and developer Konami has already shared its future plans for the game. While there is definitely a lot of bugs and fixes needed to be made, Konami is proud to reveal a new game mode called "Rescue Mission."

While the announcement of Rescue Mission is one thing, the details about it is another story. Unfortunately, the folks over at Konami have not said much about how this mission will go. They did say, however, that this is going to be another co-op mode to add more team modes to try out for players of the game.

The game, right now, only has the Salvage Missions in which players can simply go around the open-world and team up with other players. These new Rescue Missions will put players and their team into enemy territories to do exactly what the missions are called: to rescue fellow soldiers in need of aid.

Aside from the Salvage Missions, Konami will also be adding Daily Missions before the release of this new mode. It will grant players better rewards and even special modifiers for those who want some challenge. One mode is called HellFire in which all the enemies are on fire.

In other news, "Metal Gear Survive" is apparently charging players an extra $10 for an extra save slot. Needless to say, people are getting quite annoyed at this given that save slots are usually given for free. If anything, people have rather expected to pay for bonus content than just unlocking some minor features that are supposedly free.

Rescue Missions will be added sometime in March, which is not exactly far away. "Metal Gear Survive" was released just last Feb. 21, 2018 and is playable on the PlayStation 4 (PS4), Xbox One and PC.
