Manchester United will play Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Tuesday night, with most believing that the struggling United could be in for a tough time, with some even going so far as to say they will be left humiliated and embarrassed through this two legged tie.

The first leg kicks off at 7.45 p.m. BST (2.45 p.m. ET) and can be watched online through live stream –free for subscribers – via the link provided below.

United have suffered a shockingly bad season under new manager David Moyes, so fans and players must have concerned when they were drawn arguably the most in-form team in Europe at the moment in Bayern Munich in the quarterfinal draw.

Munich have a rock solid defense, have a stream of attacking options, have an efficient and hard-working team ethic, and of course most will remember how they destroyed Barcelona in the Champions League last season.

Not many give United a chance in this tie given their dreadful form this season, however, some die-hard fans will feel if Moyes can raise his United team to pull off a shock in this tie then it would almost entirely wipe out the negative atmosphere gathering over Old Trafford through this season. It would buy Moyes more time, and give fans hope that the spark is still there, and that this is just a period of transition for the club rather than a fully blown decline.

However, United have a number of team setbacks ahead of the game. Left-back Patrice Evra is suspended while Alexander Buttner is a doubt with a hamstring injury. Rrght-back Rafael is also likely to be out.

Rio Ferdinand, Jonny Evans and Chris Smalling have all also only recently recovered from injuries and may not be fully match fit. Also United will be without record signing Juan Mata, who is cup-tied.

For Bayern Munich, midfielder Thiago Alcantara is out with a knee injury but apart from that they have a fully fit squad.
