'Madden NFL 2015': Richard Sherman, JJ Watt as perfect OVR among all the players

"Madden NFL 2015" hit stores Tuesday and its cover features Seattle Seahawks cornerback, Richard Sherman.

Reviews show that Sherman is the only player in this year's game to receive a perfect overall rating (OVR). Sherman received a 99 OVR making him the third player to receive the perfect score in the game's history.

Not everyone agrees that Sherman is the perfect player though. Although his 2013-2014 season performance was noteworthy, his outburst against sideline reporter Erin Andrews is what catapulted him into fame.

Neil Greenberg of the Washington Post said that cornerback Patrick Peterson may be more deserving of the score than Sherman. Greenberg said he believes Peterson should be the highest-paid cornerback in the league.

Peterson is currently fourth place in the cornerback's division. He is behind Sherman who has a 99 OVR, Darrelle Revis with a 97 and Joe Haden with a 95. Sherman, Revis and Haden all received a 98 rating in man coverage.

Another player with a perfect 99 OVR rating is J.J. Watt. Watt received a perfect score due to his tackling ability and power.

Donny Moore told NFL.com, that Watt knew exactly what he was doing when he chose 99 as his jersey number.

"(He has) 99 Power Moves, 99 overall, 98 Block Shedding, 97 Tackle," Moore said. "If we didn't have a cap on it, Watt might be rated somewhere north of 105 OVR."

The "Madden NFL 2015 Ultimate Edition" is available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
