MacBook Pro 2016 release date rumor: Apple planning staggered release for MacBooks?

Although it is being said that Apple will be holding an event next month, fans are not expecting that a new laptop by the company will be making an appearance since it has been rumored that the new MacBooks will arrive in the middle of the year.

However, instead of a single presentation, the extensive range of MacBooks will reportedly release on a staggered basis. According to rumors, although iterations like the 2016 MacBook Pro will be seen on the WWDC event in June, the iteration will most likely release later in the year.

MacRumors predicts that as with previous iterations of Apple's laptops, the new MacBooks will reportedly be produced starting late March or April, with the annual WWDC event slated for June as their unveiling date. The industry follower said that in a staggered release, fans may see the new 12-inch MacBook and 13-inch MacBook Pro versions first, to be followed by a 15-inch MacBook Pro unveiling in the third quarter.

Although it is still unconfirmed, having at least three launches for the new MacBooks, including the MacBook Pro lineup, seems plausible. There is a rumored March event scheduled to happen by March 21, and aside from the iPhone 5se, Apple Watch 2, and the new, smaller iPad Pro, a MacBook iteration may also appear at the event.

Meanwhile, aside from the WWDC event in June, another Apple event usually happens later in the year, with the Cupertino-based tech giant launching its premium products by September onwards. Yibada listed some of the rumored specs of the upcoming MacBook Pro such as a touchscreen feature, Skylake chipset, and a number of improvements, and these features paint the upcoming MacBook Pro as a top-tier laptop iteration. This might mean that Apple will launch a new version together with the next iPhone and iPad in late 2016, possibly by September.
