The "Kingdom Hearts" franchise has been a loved and hated one. It has been loved for bringing all the Disney characters into one game. However, it has also been hated for the long-delayed release of the most awaited "Kingdom Hearts 3." Although the latest rumor about the gameplay, fans will still be glad to know that Hikaru Utada is possibly coming back to sing for the upcoming game.

Hikaru initially sang for some of the earlier games of the series, so her return can be nostalgic for some of the older players of "Kingdom Hearts." It was not the singer herself who leaked the info. Instead, the rumors came from her father, who is also her music producer, as per Comicbook.com.

Hikaru's father, Teruzane Utada, tweeted via his company's Twitter in a reply to one of the fans of both the game and Hikaru. The fan asked if Hikaru would be doing the theme songs. To this, Teruzane replied "I can't say anything yet, but be positive! We won't break your heart."

Seeing how he replied, many fans have started speculating that Hikaru is set to sing some of the songs on the next "Kingdom Hearts" installment. To add more proof to the spoiler, fans of Hikaru herself would know that she is also releasing a new album next year. This album might just include songs for "Kingdom Hearts 3."

With that said, if those pieces fit, then fans will definitely expect the game by 2018. Although for some, that may not be new information as it has already been announced earlier this year

Unfortunately, there is still no news for either "Kingdom Heart 3's" release or Hikaru Utada's new album, so it may be difficult to estimate the release date of the upcoming game.
