Kate Middleton and Prince William are expecting their second baby, either a brother or a sister to the very cute Prince George. However, Middleton's pregnancy hasn't been easy so far.

The palace made an official statement regarding the duchess. It reads:

Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in April 2015.

The Duchess of Cambridge continues to be affected by Hyperemisis Gravidarum, but her condition is steadily improving."

Hopefully, the duchess can fully recover and have a healthy pregnancy. She has been physically unable to attend to her royal duties as of late. Due to her condition, she has cancelled a number of events already, one of which was the launch of the new Clore Art Room.

Middleton felt really bad about not having been able to attend, but she sent out her sentiments.  Apart from sharing her congratulations, she also apologized for not having been there to celebrate with the kids.

She said, "I am truly sorry that I cannot be with you all today as you celebrate this milestone. As Patron of The Art Room I feel great pride to see the work that the charity is doing. Vulnerable children flourish in the safe havens that The Art Room provides; this highlights just how important it is to support children at a time when they most need help and support."

This Tuesday, the Royal Highnesses are set to meet with The President of the Republic of Singapore and his wife. They are doing it on behalf of Queen Elizabeth II. There is a Ceremonial Welcome planned. On top of this, the duchess also has another plan on Tuesday, attending the Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2015 Awards Ceremony.

Middleton is certainly a very busy duchess, but she'll definitely have to take it down a notch this time around. She still has six months to go before royal baby number 2 comes out. So hopefully, her pregnancy will be smooth sailing all the way to April next year.
