Justin Bieber thanked Jesus for helping him navigate the complicated world of relationships as he celebrated his first Thanksgiving as a married man.
The 'Love Yourself Singer' posted a message on Instagram in which he thanked Jesus for showing him how to be more patient, kind and selfless as a husband.
Bieber surprised fans by becoming engaged to model Hailey Baldwin in July this year. Rumours soon started to swirl that the pair, both Christians, had wed in secret.
Their marriage was confirmed earlier this month when Baldwin changed her Instagram handle to @haileybieber and Bieber posted a picture to the social media platform praising his 'awesome wife'.
His message for Thanksgiving was posted below a photo of a snow-covered forest. In the caption, he shared his excitement to be enjoying not only his first Thanksgiving as a married man, but his first time hosting the traditional dinner.
'Happy late thanksgiving to everyone. First thanksgiving as a married man, first time hosting thanksgiving. First time both sides of the family has come together,' he said.
'Relationships are hard and love isn't always easy but thank you Jesus for showing me how! Every day is a learning process, trying to be more like him, patient, kind, selfless, boy I got a long way! But gods grace is sufficient!'
Since re-committing himself to his Christian faith several years ago, Bieber has frequently spoken about what Jesus means to him.
Over Easter this year, he posted a message reminding his Instagram followers that the Christian celebration was not about the Easter bunny.
'Jesus has changed my life,' he wrote.
'Easter is not about a bunny, it's a reminder that my Jesus died on the cross for my sins and then rose from the dead defeating death!
'I believe this happened and it changes everything! I am set free from bondage and shame, I am a child of the most high God and he loves me exactly where I am, how I am, for who I am.'
