Josh McDowell to preach in Iraq

Christian apologist Josh McDowell will be special guest at an evening of worship and teaching in Erbil, Iraq.

McDowell will be speaking on one of three special evenings organised by local churches from 28 February to 2 March. Other guests include worship leader Manal Samir and Pastor Raaf Azab.

The city of Erbil is home to 1.3 million people and is situated in the autonomous region of Kurdistan.

SAT-7 ARABIC will be live broadcasting each of the three events to millions more people across Iraq and the wider region.

The special evenings are the culmination of a month-long church campaign, "Power to Forgive", initiated by Great Commission Media.

TV, radio and billboard adverts promoting a Christian message of forgiveness are running across the city.
