While it is already confirmed that Keanu Reeves will once again tackle bad guys when he stars in "John Wick 2," not much is known about how the story will unfold this time. According to speculations, John Wick may go against an international crime syndicate this time around.

According to Inverse, Keanu Reeves and "John Wick 2" co-star Ruby Rose were seen in Rome having dinner together. The industry follower mentioned that there are actual on-set images of the "John Wick 2" crew, with Reeves taking a stroll in a large art gallery in Rome.

Reeves was also seen sporting the same wardrobe that he was wearing while filming in New York City, and the report stated that while it is coincidental, it may be that "John Wick 2" will have ties in Europe, or at least in Rome.

While it is still unclear what "John Wick 2" will be about, Cinema Blend said that based on Reeve's hints, the upcoming movie may be a highlight of the international assassin's life before he settled down.

Reeves said in an earlier interview: "To me, there's John Wick and then there's John. You know, John is the married guy whose wife just died, and that five years of his life. Then there's John Wick, who's the mythical assassin. In this, John Wick's past comes and infiltrates John's life and John Wick, in a way, has to fight for John."

The statement hints that while in New York City, John Wick may have come across something or someone in his past, which leads him to trace back events that eventually lead to Rome.

Meanwhile, "John Wick 2" has added another stellar member in its cast as it is confirmed that Reeves will reunite with Laurence Fishburne, whom he starred with in "The Matrix" franchise.
