Duggar Family News: Jinger Duggar's Fiancé Jeremy Vuolo Says Having Her Siblings as Date Chaperones Is 'Fun'

Not everybody likes having chaperones along during dates, but the Duggar family from the TLC show "Counting On" have very strict courtship rules that must be followed.

When Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo started dating, her brothers and sisters became their chaperones. Jinger is one lucky lady because Jeremy doesn't mind having chaperones along. In fact, he actually "appreciates the idea" of having chaperones.

"I think it's wise and it's certainly fun," he said in the recent "Counting On" episode, according to PEOPLE. "Especially when you have chaperones like [Jinger's] brothers and sisters who you want to be around anyway."

Derick Dillard and Ben Seewald, who previously courted Jinger's sisters Jill and Jessa, respectively, before tying the knot, even shared some useful courtship tips for the new couple.

"Set your physical boundaries and stick to them," said Dillard. "Even if it means having chaperones."

"Focus on getting to know each other as a person," added Seewald. "Really saving the physical intimacy for after the wedding day."

It was only this June when Jinger and Jeremy first announced their courtship. Within a month, Jeremy got down on his knee and proposed to Jinger on a New York rooftop with her family as witnesses.

The two definitely have a whirlwind romance, but Jinger earlier told Us Magazine that she's certain about her future with Jeremy. She admitted that it was not Jeremy's looks that attracted her in the first place, but his deep faith in God and commitment to serve other people.

"Jeremy's background is really neat: He gave up professional soccer to become a pastor. I first noticed Jeremy on a mission trip together in Central America, and I just saw his heart, and I was like, 'Wow, he's an amazing guy.' And so that's kind of where I really remember connecting with him," she recalled.
