Jennifer Garner not interested in dating, says she would not have chosen separation from Ben Affleck

Jennifer Garner recently admitted that she is not happy about the separation from Ben Affleck. In a recent interview, Garner said that her current state is not the life that she would have chosen. She added that she would not want to be in this kind of parenthood that she is in now.

"I would not have chosen this life for myself or for my kids," the actress stated in an interview with news.com.au. She has three daughters with Affleck: Violet, 11 years old, Seraphina, 8, and Sam, 5. She thought about how she would eventually have conversations about men with her daughters — a rather delicate topic considering Affleck is separated from their mother.

The actress was reasonable about the matter. When having such conversations, she considers that not all men are the same. She would be the first to teach her daughters not to generalize and not to think that all men are in the same category. "Due process is important and has to take place," Garner said.

As for new sparks, Garner seems opposed to the idea of dating for now. She said outright that she is not interested in dating. She recounted how people have tried to set her up with dates several times, but she flat-out refused with a "No, thank you."

Meanwhile, Affleck seems to be on the road to a healthier lifestyle. He was reported to have attended rehab in Los Angeles recently. Apparently, he tries to maintain sober throughout the holiday season.

Affleck is one of the celebrities accused of sexual misconduct recently, albeit not on the same scale as media mogul Harvey Weinstein or comedian Louis C.K.

He is still co-parenting their three daughters and is planning to spend a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with Garner and the children.
