Liv (Rose McIver) and Major (Robert Buckley) have been broken up for a long time now, but Liv might just meet someone new in season 3. Meanwhile, with the growing number of zombies in town, a new pub exclusive for zombies opens in Seattle.

Previously in "iZombie," Liv and Major broke up because of irreconcilable differences – Liv is a zombie and Major is the Boogeyman, who kills off zombies. Liv tells Major, "Being a zombie has changed me. You love the woman I was before. You tolerate the woman I am now. The truth is, we belong with our own kind."

Although the two remain hopeful that one day Ravi (Rahul Kohli) can create a cure for zombies, Liv might meet someone new in "iZombie" season 3.

At the San Diego Comic-Con last July, McIver was asked if Liv and Major will end up together in the future.

"Ultimately, I would love Liv and Major to work out. But I feel like right now, there are bigger fish to fry," said McIver, probably referring to the new villain in season 3, Vivian Stoll (Andrea Savage). As TV Line reports, McIver spilled the beans about Liv's a new lover, and how she was glad that this new guy will not be killed off this time.

Is Liv moving on from Major?

Meanwhile, the number of zombies in Seattle have been rising quickly and they are just craving to socialize with each other. A new pub will be put up in town — called "The Scratching Post" — which is exclusive for Seattle's zombies. Showrunner Rob Thomas describes the pub to Entertainment Weekly, "It's a speakeasy where one needs to be able to eat a ghost pepper without flinching to be allowed in, but once inside, brains and hot sauces from around the world are available for the discriminating zombie."

But Liv, being undead and anti-zombie, still has to figure out if she wants to socialize at "The Scratching Post" or bring it down.

"iZombie" season 3 premieres in 2017 on The CW.
