KXIP meanwhile, are widely considered to have been the best team throughout the season, having been the most consistent, and were the first team to make the Playoffs. They have lost the KKR in the Playoffs already, which forced them into Qualifier 2. However, they were able to bounce back from that defeat to win against the Chennai Super Kings.
