Indian Premier League 2014 live stream free: Watch online Mumbai Indians vs Kolkata Knights Match 1 now

Indian Premier League

The Indian Premier League 2014 commences on Wednesday night with a massive game between the Mumbai Indians and the Kolkata Knights. This year's IPL could be the biggest and best yet, and the best cricket talent will be drawn to the tournament from all over the world.

Today's opening game will start at 3.30 p.m. BST (10.30 a.m. ET) and can be watched online through live stream – free for subscribers – via the link provided below.

The Mumbai Indians are the defending champions and they will be looking to Australian Michael Hussey to get them up and running early on at the top of the order. He was successful at the top of the order for the Chennai Super Kings, but he has now moved to the Mumbai Indians and they will want him to replicate his amazing form early on.

Despite Mubai's success, their top order has often faltered over recent seasons. They have been unable to settle on a good opening combination. Hussey will be key to them breaking through in that area, and the team will be hoping he can solve that concern.

Alongside Hussey will likely be Aditya Tare, to open the innings. The Mumbai wicketkeeper had a solid season last year, and if he can fire on all cylinders again this season with the mostly reliable Hussey, then they could be a phenomenal force for Mumbai's top order.

The game starts at 3.30 p.m. BST and can be watched online by clicking here.
