iPhone 6 release date to clash with Samsung Galaxy Note 4 launch?

Rivals Samsung and Apple are expected to have an intense smartphone battle in September as both companies are set to release their flagship smartphones in the said month.

The much awaited Samsung Galaxy Note and iPhone 6 were expected to be launched at around the same time. A Samsung insider initially revealed that Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will be released on Sept. 3 at the IFA tech event in Berlin, which is its usual launching platform.

Meanwhile, the iPhone 6 with 4.7 inches screen display was supposed to be unveiled on Sept. 19, according to German website apfelpage.de. Reports said that the support representatives of carrier in Germany Deutsche Telekom were telling its consumers that the next iPhone 6 will be released on the third Friday of September. However, both Apple and Samsung have not confirmed the release dates of the handsets.

Meanwhile, the real threat to Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is the rumoured iPhone 6 with 5.5 inches screen display, which is reported to arrive a month later after the release of the 4.7-inch iPhone 6.

According to rumors, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will to sport a 5.7 inch super AMOLED screen display with a pixel resolution of 2560 x 1440 and 500+ ppi. The handset will also be powered by a quad core Snapdragon 805 processor that clock at 2.5GHz paired with RAM and will have a flexible or curved display.

On the other hand, Apple was reported to unveil two variants of iPhone 6, one with a 4.7-inch display and the other one with 5.5 inches, which will both pack the strong sapphire crystal glass screen. The devices were also rumoured to be equipped with 20-nanometer A8 chip (64-bit) processor with either iOS 8 or iOS 7.2 on board. Consumers should expect an 8MP camera at the back with upgrades like flash and Optical Image Stabilisation.

However, consumers can wait and see as soon as Samsung and Apple announce concrete information about the aforementioned products.
