With the unveiling of HTC's newest flagship supposedly nearing, details of the HTC 10 continue to float online. The latest speculations suggest that since the new smartphone comes from HTC, will it support the HTC Vive as well.

According to TechnoBuffalo, reports out of HTC's backyard supposedly confirm virtual reality features for the upcoming flagship. Taipei-based Central News Agency reportedly stated that the new company flagship, "likely to be named HTC OneG 10," will be able to support the upcoming HTC Vive virtual reality headset.

It is unclear how this "support" will come about since HTC has placed the Vive VR headset as a gamer peripheral and has been established to work only on PCs. However, since the HTC 10 is said to come with USB Type-C connectivity, the company may have an interface ready to make the VR headset fully work with the flagship. HTC and Valve already confirmed in the past that the VR headset will work with Android and iOS devices, displaying notifications and featuring call functions while the headgear is in use.

It is also interesting to note that the reports out of China called the upcoming flagship iteration the "HTC OneG 10," contrary to reports of HTC dropping its "One" brand and the flagship being known as the HTC 10.

Although it has been said that the new flagship is supposed to come out next month, HTC only offers teasers for the product and details about the HTC 10 have yet to surface. Speculations suggest that the new smartphone will likely feature a 5.2-inch Quad HD display, the new Snapdragon 820 processor paired with 4 GB of RAM, and at least three internal storage options. HTC is also said to be re-introducing the UltraPixel camera with the HTC 10.
