'How to Get Away With Murder' season 4 spoilers: Laurel pregnant with Frank's baby?

"How to Get Away With Murder" season 4 is promising to be different from the past seasons. Instead of asking "who," the current season is more concerned with "where." Where is Laurel (Karla Souza) in the time jump scene? Where is her baby? Where is Annalise (Viola Davis)?

In the new teaser for episode 5, "I Love Her," Laurel seems to have an intimate session with Frank (Charlie Weber) again, and it pushes her ex-boyfriend to question the paternity of her baby. "Are you sure the baby's not mine?" Frank asks.

Last season, Laurel revealed that the baby was Wes' (Alfred Enoch). A flashback scene showed the pair discussing the possibility of Laurel's pregnancy because the condom broke while they were having sex. However, if Frank is asking that question, chances are they might have slept together again around the time Laurel conceived.

International Business Times noted that Weber's character showed up at Laurel's doorstep after Bonnie (Liza Weil) pushed him out. Although she was shaken up by his presence, she did not turn her ex away. It was not shown what happened during Frank's stay, but it is possible that they hooked up without telling anyone about it.

In last week's episode titled "Was She Ever Good at Her Job?" fans saw the beginning of Laurel's return to her old patterns. She seemingly felt the urge to have sex with every guy she came in contact with. Fans saw this through her new-found appreciation for Asher (Matt McGorry).

She eventually decided to satisfy her needs by hooking up with her ex, Frank. Although Laurel later admitted that it was a bad idea, it did not seem like she had any intentions of stopping, something the trailer for the upcoming episode confirmed.

"How to Get Away With Murder" season 4 episode 5 airs this Thursday, Oct. 26, 10 p.m. EDT on ABC.
