The upcoming sci-fi RPG "Horizon: Zero Dawn" is confirmed to also have a special Collector's Edition set.
According to a listing on Amazon, the new Collector's Edition of the upcoming RPG game has a price tag of $120. Aside from the game, the special copy of "Horizon: Zero Dawn" also contains an exclusive PS4 theme, "The Art of Horizon: Zero Dawn" art book, and a nine-inch Aloy statue from Gentle Giant. The real-world items are encased in an exclusive steel book case.
The special Collector's Edition also contains in-game bonuses like the Carja Storm Ranger and Banuk Trailblazer outfits, Carja Mighty Bow and Banuk Culling Bow and Carja Trader and Banuk Traveller packs.
Originally slated for a late 2016 release, "Horizon: Zero Dawn" now has a release date of February 2017. According to Hermen Hulst, managing director of Guerrilla Games, this is to ensure that fans will get the best out of the experience and that the game will exceed fan expectations.
Hulst wrote, "It wasn't an easy choice to make; we know many of you have been anxious to play the game since we first announced it. However, we also want to ensure that Horizon Zero Dawn lives up to the visuals and gameplay quality that our games are known for. The new date affords us the extra time required to deliver fully on our ambitious vision for Horizon Zero Dawn."
Set a thousand years into the future, "Horizon: Zero Dawn" is a PS4 exclusive detailing the main character's journey in a post-apocalyptic land with different mechanized creatures. Coming from a small tribe of hunters, players must hone Aloy's skills with in-game rewards looted from these creatures.
Although the game now has an early 2017 release, fans expect that "Horizon: Zero Dawn" will also have a major presence at the upcoming E3 2016.
