'GTA Online' DLC update: Next expansion pack tipped to be biker gang-themed

 Rockstar

Although Rockstar Games has yet to confirm a new expansion pack for "Grand Theft Auto," some observers are saying that hints can be picked up from the recent "Cunning Stunts" DLC, pointing to a biker gang-themed pack.

According to some enterprising fans on the GTA forums, the recently released "Cunning Stunts" DLC for "GTA Online" contains some scripts which may be hints at upcoming expansion content. Reportedly, the scripts describe biker-themed content, with the "gb" prefix. The prefix has been used by Rockstar Games development team as information for CEO or VIP mission in previous DLCs like "Executives and Other Criminals" and "Further Adventures in Finance and Felony." The scripts list even contained a "gb_biker_joust" line, which may relate to a contest between biker gangs. In addition, the scripts list also has an added "am_mp_personal_mod_garage" line, which may mean that players can get biker-themed properties like a bike-only garage with customization options.

Although Rockstar Games did not confirm the speculations, having a biker-themed DLC is highly likely, given that previous DLCs have already laid out a similar setup. The last expansion content packs let players build up their own criminal organizations, and even hire other players to act as bodyguards. The new DLC released this month, "Cunning Stunts," pits players against other characters in race- and stunt-style missions.

Meanwhile, aside from a biker-themed DLC pack, some fans are still hoping that Rockstar Games pushes through with a casino-style expansion for "GTA Online." The "Casino" DLC has been on the wish list since as early as last year, as observers speculated that some supposed leaks and hints have already surfaced regarding the DLC. In addition, some players are also looking for a new single-player campaign DLC release for "GTA V," since its follow-up "GTA VI" is reportedly still years away from rolling out.
