Fans will get new items and features for "GTA Online" starting today, as the next planned expansion, the "Bikers" downloadable content (DLC), goes live.

Although Rockstar Games has not announced a specific rollout start, iDigitalTimes believes that the new DLC will go live by 2 a.m. PDT. Meanwhile, a slightly staggered release is expected for the global launch. In addition, it is confirmed that the new "Bikers" DLC will be automatically downloaded for "GTA Online" on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.

Rockstar Games has already teased some of the new features and content coming with the "Bikers" DLC. As with previous expansions, the new DLC will bring some new themed items for players. In the announcement, Rockstar Games has confirmed that the new expansion "brings underground Motorcycle Clubs to the forefront of the Los Santos and Blaine County criminal underworld with a rash of all new competitive and co-operative gameplay."

Industry followers say that the new expansion is a timely one. Aside from adding new content to the game, it is expected that the upcoming "Bikers" DLC will also tweak some of the existing gameplay modes for "GTA Online." The new expansion will reportedly even tie into an improved gameplay for the "Heist" features.

Meanwhile, as expected, the new features will also come with new in-game items like weapons, clothing, and vehicles. Although the developer has yet to detail all the new items, it is expected that the new vehicles list will be topped by new motorbikes, and it may even come out with customized motorcycles that tie-in to the new game modes for "Bikers" DLC.

Having the new expansion coming live this week is welcome news for hardcore fans. The "Bikers" DLC has been rumored for some time now, and Rockstar Games has been silent amid speculations. Meanwhile, fans are hoping that more rumored DLCs will materialize, particularly a Casino-inspired DLC.
