'GTA Online' news: After Cunning Stunts DLC, new Stunt Race Creator to roll out next week

 Rockstar Games Newswire

Although Rockstar Games has already rolled out the new "Cunning Stunts" DLC for "GTA Online," the new expansion is scheduled to get more content next week as the Stunt Race Creator tool will go live on Aug. 2.

The new content pack features a series of 16 new Stunt Race events that will have players try to out-do and out-maneuver each other on winding tubular tracks, technical courses, and desert tracks all around Los Santos and neighboring boroughs. Rockstar Games puts the new update as something that players haven't encountered yet on "GTA Online."

The developers say, "This is unlike anything you've seen before: tracks coiling up into the sky, skyscraper jumps, turbo-boosted corkscrews at 20,000 feet... and that's before you get to the giant bowling pins and the rings of fire."

Meanwhile, although the event races are timed exclusives, Rockstar Games will continue on adding new content for the "Cunning Stunts" DLC. Starting next week, players can now use the Stunt Race Creator tool in "GTA Online" to make their own trailer and race tracks for the new DLC. To celebrate the new expansion, the developer has added new timed exclusives such as "H200 Stunt Race" in-game mission. In the new event that will last until Sunday, there is a GTA $100,000 top prize for the first finisher in the race. There are also a number of new missions with double the rewards such as double RP and in-game cash bonuses.

The new "Cunning Stunts" DLC is also interesting for some hardcore fans of the franchise. Reportedly, some hidden files in the new expansion point out to another content coming out soon, and this may be a continuation of player organization content. Allegedly, one of the new DLC that Rockstar Games plans on releasing a is a biker gang-themed expansion.
