'GTA 6' rumors: Location rumored to be Texas?

With the success of "GTA V," Rockstar is surely pressured to make a follow up game that is bigger than the current version. This is why gamers are trying to get every bit of news about "GTA 6." However, Rockstar hasn't released much information on the sequel game yet.

And because of the silence, gamers are making their own speculations, guesses, and requests as to what the next game should be. This time, it's the location in particular.

Any serious game developer would hear what their fans want. They can browse forums and read through what players have been saying about the game. In this case, Reddit users are making their own suggestions about the location for "GTA 6."

According to KDramaStars, a Reddit user by the name of m15wallis said that "GTA 6" should be set in Houston, Texas. "The city is so huge that it ticks every box to be a great GTA location. There are rich areas, poor areas and a perfect blend of rural as well as urban," the report claimed.

m15wallis also said that making Texas the location for "GTA 6" will add a different flavor to the mix, especially with everything that Texas can offer. It will add cultural influence on the game, plus there are cowboys, Mexican cartel, and Rednecks.

But contrary to this request, many "GTA" fans are still hoping that the game will return to Vice City. KDramaStars said that Rockstar can recreate a better and bigger San Andreas especially with the capabilities of next-gen consoles today.

Meanwhile, other rumors in the past have said that "GTA 6" will be titled "GTA 6: City Stories" which could mean "GTA: Liberty City Stories" or "GTA: Vice City Stories."

All fans can hold on to at this point are rumors and theories, so that means they have to wait until Rockstar makes an announcement. Rumor has it that the announcement for "GTA 6" will be made once Rockstar announces a new game for PS4 and Xbox One on March 2015.
