'Grey's Anatomy' season 11 spoilers: Family relationships explored, new doctors

"Grey's Anatony" is coming back in late September for season 11. But everyone is wondering, what will be the main storyline for the new season? With old doctors leaving and new doctors coming in, will "Grey's Anatomy" still sustain its attractive plot line for its audience?

Shonda Rimes, creator of "Grey's Anatomy," is dealing so many cards this upcoming season and hopefully, she'll deal the right ones. However, according to speculations, season 11 will be very focused on family relationships.

Let's start off with Callie and Arizona who are described to be "in a much better place" right now compared to how they were back in the season 8 finale. Rumor has it that their relationship will start off shaky and the couple might adopt.

Jackson and April are still trying to agree with each over their parenting preferences. To add, they still have to deal with Jackson's lineage practices. Both expecting parents will do a lot of figuring out this season. Also, soon-to-be grandma Catherine Avery will have a bigger role this season.

Jo and Alex have a better relationship now, the marriage proposal helped. Still, it is a question if Jo will actually say 'yes' on their wedding day. Meanwhile, Alex will have a bigger shoe to fill this season as Dr. Cristina Yang's departure has left her a seat at the board.

Speaking of Dr. Yang, the Grey Sloan Memorial's Cardiothoracic Deparment has found a replacement for her. She is Dr. Margaret Pierce.

Meredith and Derek was left with a new relationship issue in the season 10 finale. Meredith doesn't like her husband's new job proposal. But Derek doesn't seem to be turning down this job. The couple will probably not file for divorce, but instead, work through a long-distance relationship.

In addition, Meredith will be facing another family relationship issue too. It appears that the new doctor in Grey Sloan Memorial, Dr. Pierce, is Meredith's sister. Dr. Pierce's father is speculated to be Dr. Richard Webber. Fans are not expecting Meredith to react to this matter invitingly.

There's still a couple of months left before "Grey's Anatomy" season 11 comes back in September. Watch out for further spoilers and updates.
