Racing fans have a lot to look forward to as developer Polyphony Digital has released a brand-new patch for "Gran Turismo Sport" that adds a ton of free content.
Simply titled Patch 1.11, this update serves as the game's first major update for 2018 and includes ten new cars, a new track with several new layouts and four new GT League events.
What fans are most likely looking forward to are the new vehicles, and Patch 1.11 adds ten amazing new cars that are sure to appeal to any motor head. The cars added in this patch include the Dodge Viper GTS, the Ferrari 512 BB and 330 P4, the Ford GT, the Jaguar XJ13, the Lamborghini Diablo GT, the McLaren F1, and the Toyota 2000GT, FT-1, and Supra RZ.
Now, what good is a shiny new car without a nice place to drive it in? Patch 1.11 adds the famous Autodromo Nazionale Monza, a real-life race track located in Italy. Alongside the track comes eight various layouts to keep some variety in the locale.
Finally, the update adds four new events to the GT League.
The first is a Beginner League event called Raptor Survival which is a one-make race that has players using the Ford F-150 pickup truck. Following that is the J-Sport Meeting, an Amateur League race where players can only choose among an assortment of Japanese sports cars. The third event is the La Festa Cavallino, a Professional League event where players are restricted to using only Ferrari branded cars. Finally, there is the Gr.3 Endurance Series which is an Endurance League event where racers will tackle the track using road cars that have been converted into race cars.
Other than these major additions, Polyphony Digital also mentioned that Patch 1.11 adds several smaller features, improvements, and bug fixes that they did not go into much detail on.
